First Peoples Principals of Learning
The meaning of the First People’s Principals of Learning (FPPL) is to incorporate Indigenous history, culture, and education into the curriculum, providing different perspectives and insight. It is a very important tool and resource used to educated people on the First People’s Principals, how it applies to everyday lives, and how to incorporate this. The thoughtful words in the FPPL provides ways to incorporate these learnings into schools and the classroom. We also discover ways to have considerate conversations about interconnectedness and bringing perspectives for intercultural relations in the classroom. Using these insights in schools can help to challenge individual fundamentals, and allow for inclusivity.
