This video is a reflection on my educational journey. It broadcasts important moments while I was in school, people who made my educational experience so wonderful, and the unlimited support I received. This video has a lot of meaning to me, because it shows an in depth explanation of someone who taught me so much, my French teacher in high school. She is a teacher that created an ideal learning environment, adapted lessons to make them fun, encouraged us to try our best, and was always there for a helping hand. One influential moment that I had with her was when I was in grade eleven. I applied to go on an exchange to Italy for three months. The was a time conflict with the way course delivery worked at our small high school, as certain courses were only offered every couple of years. It was clear that if I decided to go on the exchange, I may be late in graduating. My teacher made it clear that this was not an option! She wanted me to graduate with my peers that I had been in school with since elementary. She switched part of the class online in order for me to be able to do it with my peers. If something needed to be done face-to-face, she would skype me on her own time so I was able to get the work done, or receive help where needed. The meaning behind this video shows me opportunities I received because of a great teacher, and the overall life experience I got to enjoy because of her.
